Rathotsavam poster released at Vijayawada
Sri Kanyaka Parameshwari Anna Satram Committee President B Hareswara Rao and secretary BV Lakshmi Vara Prasad said arrangements were underway for conducting the annual Rathotsavam to be held on February 23.

The committee president and secretary along with the members released wall posters on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, they said the Satram committee has been conducting the Rathotsavam for the past 151 years and arrangements were underway for the mega event. They said that Commissioner of Police Dwaraka Tirumala Rao will inaugurate the Rathotsavam by pulling the chariot.
Minister Velampalli Srinivas, MP Kesineni Nani, Central MLA Malladi Vishnu, East MLA Gadde Rammohan, Durga temple EO V Suresh Babu and others would attend the event.
Similarly, Brahmotsavams of Sri Bhramaramba Malleswara Swamy, Sri Bhadrakalee Sameta Veerabhadra Swamy in the old Shivalayam will be held from February 18 to 25, they added.
