Vijayawada: With an objective to promote the Mangalagiri handloom products, students of Samana College of Design Studies (SCDS) on Sunday took part in a fashion show displaying the handloom products.
Speaking on the occasion, SCDS chairman Samana Moosavi said that college has been promoting Mangalagiri fabric in support of the local weavers. "We have been doing this to promote the fabric, though there was no support from the government all these years", she said.
