Section 30 of Police Act imposed
Urban SP Ch Vijaya Rao imposed Section 30 of Police Act from May 2 to June 2 and issued orders to this effect.
Guntur: Urban SP Ch Vijaya Rao imposed Section 30 of Police Act from May 2 to June 2 and issued orders to this effect. He instructed people not to conduct rallies, public meetings and protests during this period without prior permission from the police department.
He warned that if any association will conduct protests or stage dharna, they will file cases and take stern action against them. He urged the student associations and political parties not to violate the Section 30 of the Police Act and cooperate with the police.
He further said that they have stepped vigilance and set up CC cameras to observe movements of the suspects and anti-social elements. He directed the police officials to strictly implement the Section 30 of Police Act.
