Speaker pays rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi
State Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram on Saturday called upon people to follow the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
Rajamahendravaram: State Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram on Saturday called upon people to follow the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. Releasing a book 'Gandhi Tataku Jejelu' penned by G Ramana at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram here on Saturday night, he said the nation would never forget the services rendered by Mahatma Gandhi to earn freedom.
He hailed the move to publish a book with some quotes of Mahatma Gandhi for children. He stressed the need for more books to enlighten people on the life of the Father of the Nation.
He congratulated writer Ramana for publishing the book. MP Margani Bharat Ram, MLC Somu Veerraju, MLA Adireddy Bhavani, former MLA Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao, corporation commissioner Abhishikt Kishore and many others were present.
