Srisailam: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been formally invited to the Dasara Mahotsavams scheduled at the revered Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Srisailam from October 11 to 20. Temple authorities and Vedic scholars met the Chief Minister on Tuesday to hand over the invitation, requesting his esteemed presence at the ten-day festival.
A high-level delegation comprising Srisailam MLA Budda Rajasekhar Reddy, Temple Trust Board Chairman Potugunta Ramesh Naidu, and Executive Officer M Srinivasa Rao met Chandrababu Naidu to brief him on the grand arrangements underway. During the meeting, temple priests offered Vedic blessings and presented the Chief Minister with sacred Sheshavastrams, temple prasadam, and a commemorative memento featuring Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba Devi. Responding to the invitation, Chandrababu Naidu enquired about the extensive preparations being made by the Srisailam Devasthanam to accommodate the large influx of pilgrims anticipated during the festivities.
Temple management assured the Chief Minister that comprehensive measures are being implemented to ensure smooth darshan, rigorous crowd control, and top-tier sanitation and safety facilities for devotees visiting the sacred shrine throughout the celebrations.
