Tirumala: TTD Tirumala Special Officer-1 A V Dharma Reddy, reviewed on the arrangements for Garuda Seva during the upcoming annual Srivari Brahmotsavams in Tirumala along with other officials on Wednesday. Garudotsavam is a major event of the nine-day annul fete at Tirumala and attracts about three lakh devotees. It is a challenging task for the TTD to ensure orderly conduct of the event that will be held on the fifth day of the Brahmotsavams. Additional staff including police are being deployed for the smooth conduct of Garuda Vahana Seva.

Dharma Reddy discussed in detail about the galleries meant for protocol, VIP, employees, police and media etc. and the past year experiences by means of power point presentation at Gokulam Conference Hall.

Later, he inspected the entry points earmarked for various categories of VIPs at Rambhageecha area and also galleries at Vahana Mandapam along with vigilance and engineering officials. It may be noted here that the TTD as a precautionary measure, banned the plying of two-wheelers on the ghat roads on Garuda Seva day to avoid congestion and ensure smooth traffic on the ghat roads expecting large number of devotees thronging Tirumala to witness Garuda Seva.

Additional CVSO T V Siva Kumar Reddy, VGO Manohar, Temple Dy EO Harindranath and others were present.
