Strive to regain past glory of VR institutions: Minister to officials
The Minister for Water Resources Dr P Anil Kumar instructed the officials to take steps so that the Venkatagiri Rajah’s Institutions will regain their past glory.
Nellore: The Minister for Water Resources Dr P Anil Kumar instructed the officials to take steps so that the Venkatagiri Rajah's Institutions will regain their past glory. He visited the College on Tuesday and held review meeting with officials.
He directed the officials to conduct a meeting every fortnight and resolve the issues. He asked the faculty members to provide quality education to the students and promote games and sports for reviving the past glory of the institutions.
The minister suggested to the Joint Collector Dr V Vinod Kumar who is the special officer of the Institutions to make use the huge playground in the premises for only games and sports. The College ground has to be developed with the help of donors and asked the officials to open a separate bank account for the purpose.
JC Vinod Kumar said that they would follow directions of the Minister for developing the institutions and the playground too. Rural MLA K Sridhar Reddy, Principal of VR College Dr M Subrahmanyam, College Alumni Association members and others were present.
