Summer temperature begins in Visakhapatnam
In amidst of local body elections in the state, the summer temperatures begin to heat up Visakhapatnam for the past few days.

As summer just started, but the temperatures are sizzling at many places in the state. At 495 Meteorological centres across the state, the afternoon temperatures are recorded at 35 to 40 degrees.
The AP State Development Planning Society has announced that the maximum temperatures of 30 to 35 degrees have been recorded at another 513 weather centres.
So far, Vijayapuram in Chittoor district has recorded a high temperature of 39.3 degrees, Chinthakommadinne in Kadapa district recorded 38.5 degrees, Bestavaripeta in Prakasam district registers 38 degrees, Bhimadole in West Godavari records 37.3 degrees, Kasimkota in Visakhapatnam has recorded 35 degrees.
The night weather remains cool, but heat sizzles during the day. According to IMD sources, this is the time for the weather to switch to summer, and this makes the temperatures to record nearly 40 degrees.
