Take up road works on priority basis, Kodali to R & B officials

Gudivada: Minister for Civil Supplies Kodali Venkateswara Rao convened a review meeting with the engineers of the Roads and Buildings Department on Thursday. The Minister told the officials to take up road construction works on a priority basis.
He said works from KTR College to Mandapadu Railway Gate would be taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 3 crore. The engineers have given an estimation of Rs 16 crore for the expansion of Gudivada -Vijayawada Road. He announced that the two-lane Janardhanapuram – Nandivada Road would be developed up to Narasimhapuram.
The Minister said that an estimate of Rs 3 crore was prepared for the highway road works from Gudivada to Raudrapaka and Tamirisha to Lingavaram. He said that the Roads and Buildings departmental engineers prepared an estimate of Rs 15 crore for the highway road works from Koutavaram of Gudlavalleru mandal to Nidumolu.
