TDP paid tributes to NTR, on his birth anniversary
The TDP paid rich tributes to party founder NT Rama Rao on the occasion of his birth anniversary on Thursday, amidst fan fare during the second day Mahanadu.
Amaravati: The TDP paid rich tributes to party founder NT Rama Rao on the occasion of his birth anniversary on Thursday, amidst fan fare during the second day Mahanadu. Party supremo N Chandrababu Naidu, senior leaders including Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Nara Lokesh, Nimmakayala Chinarajappa, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and others participated in this programme at the NTR Bhavan in Mangalagiri.
Meanwhile, the second day Mahanadu commenced and party Politburo member Varla Ramaiah stated that the NTR fought for the self respect and pride of the Telugu people. NTR came into power within nine months after founding the TDP, he recalled.
Chandrababu Naidu said that the TDP celebrates Mahanadu on the birth anniversary of NTR and it will continue forever. He added that it is not only the festival of the TDP but also the entire Telugu people.
Speaking on this occasion, former Union Minister Ashok Gajapati Raju said that the TDP will flourish as long as Telugu exists.
