The TDP leaders on Friday organised a massive rally demanding the government to resolve the sand issue as soon as possible.
Vizianagaram: The TDP leaders on Friday organised a massive rally demanding the government to resolve the sand issue as soon as possible. The TDP leaders under the leadership of daughter of former Union Minister P Aditi Gajapathi Raju participated in the rally.
Addressing the gathering, Aditi said that the price of sand was on par with cement due to immature decision taken by the government. "This government has so far not taken any decision in favour of public. The policy on sand is not yet clear.
As a result, the entire construction works came to a halt and thousands of workers became jobless," she said. Demanding the government to respond on the issue promptly, she said the TDP would intensify protests on behalf of public if the government did not take a decision on the issue. The rally started from Ashok Bangalow and continued upto Mayuri junction.
