The Amaravathi Conservation Committee's Delhi tour has reached the seventh day on Friday. In the meanwhile, they met with President Ramnath Kovind along with TDP MP's today and appealed to the Center to intervene in the matter of Andhra Pradesh Capital issue. The farmer's agitation in the capital region Amaravati has brought to the president's notice.

Later, the farmers JAC and TDP leaders have met the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and urged him to intervene to ensure that the capital is retained at Amravati.

On the other hand, the YSRCP government headed by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is going ahead with its plan of action to move the capital from Amaravati to Visakhapatnam. The government is in a proposal to shift the officer to Visakhapatnam and Kurnool. However, the High Court has issued a stay order on the evacuation of offices.
