Three dead in lightening strike in Gangavaram of Chittoor district
In a a lightening strike, three members of a family were dead on the spot according to Ramakrishna Circle Inspector of Gangavaram police station, Chittoor District.
In a lightening strike, three members of a family were dead on the spot according to Ramakrishna Circle Inspector of Gangavaram police station, Chittoor District. On Saturday night while Ramakrishna (45), his daughters Ramadevi (24), and Meena (22) were in their farm field, heavy rain lashed out along with lightening strike in which three were dead on the spot.
The incident evoked a sensation in the village. Having come to know the tragic incident, Sree Devi wife of Ramakrishna the deceased fell in an unconscious state. A case was registered in Gangavaram police station.
On the other hand, in the weather bulletin released earlier, the Disaster Management Commissioner K Kanna Babu have said there could be lightning strikes in Andhra Pradesh and asked people to stay in safe places to avoid unwanted issues.
