The TTD, a month back added VIP-break darshan facility to those who donate to Sri Venkateswara Alaya Nirmana (SRIVANI) Trust so as to attract more donation to the trust for taking up construction of Sri Venkateswara temples in a big way more so in the habitations of SCs and STs vulnerable to conversions.
On Sunday, 346 devotees had darshan of Lord Venkateswara through SRIVANI Trust thus recording the maximum number of devotees on a single day since the launch of the scheme on October 21 this year. The online quota was released from November 4 onwards.
As many as 147 devotees donated to the Trust on offline and 199 devotees booked it online taking the total to 346 for the privileged darshan under the new scheme on Monday.
