Tirumala: Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sharad Arvind Bobde had Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam on the auspicious day of Vaikuntha Ekadasi on Friday after offering prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.

Earlier, on his arrival at Mahadwaram, he was welcomed by TTD EO Dr K S Jawahar Reddy and additional EO A V Dharma Reddy. Later, inside the temple he was accompanied by TTD Trust Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy for darshan.

After offering prayers to the presiding deity of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, the CJI had Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam which is considered to be auspicious.

Later, he was rendered Vedasirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam and was presented with Thirtha Prasadams and diary, calendar and lamination photo of Lord Venkateswara.

District judge Ravindra Babu, CVSO Gopinath Jatti, temple DyEO Haridranath, urban SP Ramesh Reddy and others were present.

Later, he offered prayers in the temple of Goddess Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanoor.
