Tirupati: A 200-bedded medicine ward was made ready at Ruia hospital as a precautionary step in view of the outbreak of coronavirus. Ruia superintendent Dr NV Ramanaiah, Medicine department Head Dr IV Ramachandra Rao, coronavirus nodal officer Dr Subba Rao and others inspected the ward on Sunday.
They said that following the instructions from higher officials, a special ward has been provided with all the requirements. ARMO Dr Harikrishna, Dr Fahim, V Kiron and others participated. Also, covid-19 mock drill was organised at the hospital.
