Tributes paid to Amarajeevi

Kurnool: Chief Executive Officer Narsa Reddy and other officials paying tributes to Amarajeevi Potti Sriramulu, on the latter’s birth anniversary, at district Praja Parishad office in Kurnool on Monday.

Narsa Reddy said that Potti Sriramulu played a pivotal role in the formation of Andhra Pradesh, by taking up hunger strike in 1952 for 58 days for the creation of a separate State for Telugu-speaking people and sacrificed his life.
