In a significant development, TTD has relaxed the norms for aged and children for darshan in Tirumala temple
Tirumala: In a significant development, TTD has relaxed the norms for aged and children for darshan in Tirumala temple. In a statement here on Friday, it said the devotees who intend to have darshan of the Lord can have through existing channels of booking of tickets for darshan at their own risk and cost duly keeping in view the Covid norms stipulated by the Centre.
TTD has also said these devotees have to go for darshan in general queue lines only as no special queue line arrangements have been made for them. TTD said recognising and honouring the sentiments of devotees the board had decided to resume the Srivari darshan for these category of devotees henceforth but within the framework of Covid-19 guidelines.
