Two families clash in Nellore, 1 dead and 4 injured
The deceased was said to be the sympathizer of the TDP
Nellore: A person died and four others hurt in a dispute between two families regarding rights on the compound wall in Minagallu village of Ananthasagaram Mandal in the early hours on Friday.
According to sources, there has been a dispute between Chittiboina Vengaiah and S Hazarath Reddy of the village for some time and they approached the police also 3 months ago.
Freshly on Thursday, Vengaiah painted the disputed wall on his side which created trouble. Infuriated Hazarath Reddy along with his wife and two sons attacked Vengaiah while he was moving along with the cattle for grazing in the early hours on Friday with axes and other lethal weapons in which he died on the spot.
Wife, son and daughter in law of Vengaiah and another received injuries in the incident when they tried to resist.
Injured were shifted to Atmakur district headquarters hospital for treatment. Police booked a case on the incident and were investigating. Vengaiah was said to be sympathizer of TDP and Hazarath Reddy is active in the ruling YSR congress.
