Tirumala: The annual Vasantotsavam concluded on a grand note on Friday with the nine utsava murthies in Tirumala sanctum sanctorum were given a celestial bath at Vasantha Mandapam. It was a visual treat to all the devotees who were converged to witness the Snapana Tirumanjanam.
The processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy with Sridevi and Bhudevi were placed on a platform, Sri Rama with Sita Devi, Lakshmana Swamy, Anjaneya on other platform and the silver idols of Sri Krishna Swamy with Rukmini on another platform.
Tirumanjanam with coconut water, milk, honey, turmeric paste and sandal paste was performed by temple priests to the deities.
