Vijayawada: Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) is organising a three-day online training programme on Export Marketing from December 9 to 11 between 3 pm and 6 pm every day.

SK Sahabuddin, programme coordinator of FAPCCI, said in a statement here on Monday that businesses these days are often increasing the products by promoting sales at international level. But it is difficult to assume that the foreign markets will be as interested in the product as local customers.

Cultural differences, shipping costs and transit time, politics, and international trade policies all contribute to a marketing communication barrier between suppliers and foreign buyers. The growing complexities of global import and export management, the process of global processes, market and consequence of competitiveness requires every player to have a thorough knowledge of theory and practices of foreign trade. Keeping in view the major difficulties faced as a manager or an entrepreneur with respect to identifying the foreign markets.

Referring to the objective of the session, he said that this would help the beginners to enter into foreign trade marketing update on the export marketing and also help the current export marketing managers in handling various issues of export marketing and it would also explain the practical aspects of making overall subject to relate to the situations.

The topics in the sessions are introduction to International Marketing, importance of export marketing plan and how to draw marketing plan, intercultural management, segmentation, international product policy, international pricing policy, international promotion policy, international distribution and importance of International Market Research etc and to know the buying behaviours, interests, and needs of your foreign customers.

Dr E Murali Darshan, Professor Emeritus of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi would be the faculty.
