Vijayawada: Civic chief, MLA Vishnu visit Singhnagar
VMC Commissioner K Prasanna Venkatesh and Central MLA Malladi Vishnu along with VMC officials visited Singhnagar on Thursday.
Vijayawada: VMC Commissioner K Prasanna Venkatesh and Central MLA Malladi Vishnu along with VMC officials visited Singhnagar on Thursday. The Commissioner told the concerned officials to take action in solving the problems of the people of the locality.
They made a field visit of division Nos 53 and 54 and enquired the residents about their problems and later discussed with the officials and gave a few suggestions.
The Commissioner instructed the officials concerned to take measures to improve greenery and develop the park at Singhnagar block 19 for the use of the residents in that area and also lay speed braker wherever necessary. He also instructed the concerned officials to take measures possible to widen the road from Makineni Basavapunnaiah Stadium to Railway track.
Later, they inspected the construction of pipeline works at the drinking water reservoir at the sewage treatment plant which is being done with an estimated cost of Rs 88 lakh. Executive engineer ASN Prasad, deputy executive engineer Narayana Murthy and others were present.
