The temple administration has decided to perform Pancha Haratulu on a regular basis in the evening at Durga Ghat from 6 pm onwards. Earlier, it was performed at Pavita Sangamam.
Due to heavy inflows of water into River Krishna during this rainy season, the temple administration has decided to perform Pancha Haratulu at Durga Ghat near the Durga temple.
Endowments Minister Vellampalli Srinivas, Central MLA Malladi Vishnu and priests performed special puja to mark the occasion.
