Nature loves and students disappointed as they could not see the solar eclipse on Sunday due to thick clouds hovered the city and drizzle started in some parts of the city.

The weather changed due to active monsoon as well as the depression formed in Bay of Bengal. Till Saturday, the sky was very clear. But, all of a sudden the temperature came down and thick clouds were seen in the sky since morning. Jana Viganana Vedika arranged glasses to see the wonderful eclipse.
Unfortunately, the students and others could not see. To dispel the myths in the people that it is not good to eat during the eclipse period, the JVV has arranged breakfast and members enjoyed the breakfast at the Prakasam barrage. Many denizens in Vijayawada could not see eclipse from 10.25 am to 1.54 pm due to bad weather and disappointed.
On the other hand, temples remain closed during the eclipse time and reopened afternoon for cleaning (Samproshana) and devotees will be allowed from Monday.
