Krishna District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz made a surprise visit to monitor the handing over of appointment letters to the selected candidates of village secretariats and digital assistants at the Sub-Collector’s office here on Saturday.

Vijayawada: Krishna District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz made a surprise visit to monitor the handing over of appointment letters to the selected candidates of village secretariats and digital assistants at the Sub-Collector's office here on Saturday.

The District Collector, on the occasion, handed over appointment letters to the selected candidates of village secretariats and digital assistants. He said that 223 candidates for the posts of digital assistants were selected for Grade 6 and 548 candidates for grade 5 village secretariat secretary were selected and the appointment letters were being handed over to them.

As per the candidates' eligibility, they will be posted at the mandal and village panchayats and the process is being done transparently. The Collector told the appointed candidates that they have to provide services to the people with dedication and honesty.

Joint Collector K Mohan Kumar, SP CEO Surya Prakash, DPO Dr J Aruna, Special Deputy Collector M Chakrapani, DL POs I Jyothermai, K Chandrashekar and others were present.
