Management of BEd Colleges affiliated to Andhra University donated Rs.3.65 lakh to the Chief Minister Relief Fund.
Visakhapatnam: Management of BEd Colleges affiliated to Andhra University donated Rs.3.65 lakh to the Chief Minister Relief Fund.
A cheque for Rs 3.65 lakh was handed over to Vice-Chancellor of AU P V G D Prasad Reddy at the varsity.
Speaking on the occasion, the V-C said there was a need to contribute to contain the pandemic individually and added that the Chief Minister was considering all possible steps to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. The Vice-Chancellor lauded the efforts made by the B.Ed colleges' management for coming forward to the noble cause. The cheque was handed over to the V-C in the presence of university's Registrar V. Krishna Mohan and B.Ed. Colleges' Principals N. Srinivasa Mohan, K. Appala Naidu and Y.S.P.N. Mangesh, among other staff members.
