Visakhapatnam: A torch rally was taken out by the YSRCP activists demanding the government that Visakhapatnam be made executive capital of the state. The rally began from Gurudwara Junction here on Monday. Participating in the rally, Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao said those who are against the three capitals decision of the government, want to divide the state by bring regional differences among the people of state.
He alleged that Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu made Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan as a puppet in the three capitals issue. He threw a challenge to the TDP MLAs from Visakhapatnam to resign from their posts and seek fresh mandate on the capital issue. The minister alleged that Naidu was busy in protecting their MLAs rather than welfare of the people.
