However, the weather department has said good news by predicting rains in the next 24 hours.

The Meteorological Center said that some areas in the Bay of Bengal, adjacent to the South Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea, are likely to receive south-west monsoon over the next 24 hours. From South Chhattisgarh to Interior Tamil Nadu, the surface basin is steady at the height of 0.9 km over Telangana and Rayalaseema, which would results in slight to moderate rains in parts of the north-west coast of Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on Wednesday and Thursday.

It also said that moderate showers could be expected in some areas over the next three days. The maximum temperature is recorded at 41 degrees Celsius to 43 degrees Celsius. "Some areas of Rayalaseema are also likely to experience mild to moderate rains over the next two days, with maximum temperatures ranging from 41 degrees Celsius to 43 degrees Celsius, in the day time," the Meteorological Department said.
