YSR Smruthi Vanam to be set up at Pulichintala Project: P Anil Kumar Yadav
Minister for Irrigation P Anil Kumar Yadav said that the government will construct Smruthi Vanam in memory of late Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at Pulichintala Project site in Guntur district very soon.
Guntur: Minister for Irrigation P Anil Kumar Yadav said that the government will construct Smruthi Vanam in memory of late Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at Pulichintala Project site in Guntur district very soon.
He along with Minister for I&PR Perni Nani visited the Pulichintala Project site and searched for a suitable place for construction of the YS Rajasekhara Reddy Smruthi Vanam on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Kumar Yadav said that following the request of the people, the Chief Minister agreed to construct the Smurti Vanam. He further said that the government was contemplating to construct another bridge across River Krishna connecting Guntur and Krishna districts on the downstream of Pulichintala Project.
He said that they will install a 45-feet statue of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in the Smruthi Vanam and remembered that they impounded 45 tmcft water for the first time this year after constructing the project.
He said, this is a good indication and expressed confidence that Jagan Mohan Reddy will continue as a Chief Minister for another 25-years. MLAs Nambur Sankara Rao, Jogi Ramesh and government whip Udaya Bhanu were among those who accompanied the Ministers.
