YSRCP government pro-BC: Minister G Sankaranarayana
BC Welfare Minister G Sankaranarayana has described the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government as a BC welfare government.
Anantapur: BC Welfare Minister G Sankaranarayana has described the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's government as a BC welfare government. A lion's share among the MLAs and Ministers hailed from BCs.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, the Minister said that the Chief Minister started implementing 'Navaratnalu' right from the day one and is giving a corruption-free and transparent governance to the people of the State. Jagan Reddy has given 50 percent of all positions in government to the BCs as well in government awarded contracts.
The YSRCP government has on a permanent basis constituted the BC Commission armed with powers unlike the toothless BC Commission constituted by the TDP government.
He promised to address the drinking water problem and drought on a permanent scale. Hindupur MP G Madhav, Anantapur MP T Rangaiah were also present.
