Mysuru: Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa said that the decision on cabinet expansion would be taken in next two to three days.

He was speaking to media persons here on Wednesday.

He said , "The orders were issued appointing chairpersons of 23 boards and corporations on Tuesday and the appointment orders pertaining to the remaining boards and corporations were given on Wednesday evening. I have already given the complete list related to boards and corporations at Bengaluru before coming to Mysuru. Whoever missed the opportunity will be considered in the next phase."

On Nivar cyclonic storm, he said, "it cannot be prevented. We have directed the officials concerned to take the necessary precautionary measures. Red alert has been declared in some areas." Meanwhile, Chamarajnagar BJP MP V Srinivasprasad expressed his anguish with Mr Yediyurappa right in front of the Suttur math seer on Wednesday for 'ignoring' the candidates suggested by him for appointment as chairmen of boards and corporations. Trying to soothe the MP, Mr Yeddyurappa assured that he would resolve the issue in three days and took the list from the latter.
