Hyderabad: City-based Gemini Edibles and Fats India Private Limited on Wednesday announced the launch of Freedom double filtered groundnut oil, a new variant to its existing cooking oil range whichcomprises refined sunflower oil, rice bran, mustard oil, gingerly and groundnut oil.
P Chandra Shekhara Reddy, Vice President, Marketing, Freedom Healthy Cooking Oil Range, said: "We are pleased to launch Freedom double filtered groundnut oil which adds more variants to the portfolio.
Our focus lies in providing specific variants of oils for our customers varied culinary preferences." He further said that groundnut oil was the preferred oil in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana due to its aroma and flavour. "We have observed that the demand for groundnut oil increases four times during the pickle season. Of late, customers prefer to use multiple oils for their culinary choices and for reasons like nutritional benefits," he said.
