Speaking to reporters on the side-lines of inaugurating and moving into a 10,000 sft here on Thursday, Jurgen Wolf, Managing Director, Hafele South Asia said, "We see Hyderabad as a huge market with lot of potential and that is the reason we have invested Rs 8 crore in our 10th centre in India at Hyderabad.
We have clocked a revenue of Rs 706 crore in the 2018 calendar year, expecting it to cross Rs 800 crore in 2019 and may be cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark in two years' time."
Hyderabad is currently turning into the new IT hub of the country bringing in a lot of investments. The startup culture is also booming thanks to initiatives like T-Hub and We-Hub, attracting well-educated people from around the region which is elevating the overall working culture and standard of living of the city.
Our initiative is to successfully cater to this growing customer base and offer them design solutions at par with their evolving lifestyles, the MD added.
The company currently employees 40 employees in Hyderabad.
The company which has 120 outlets in India has exclusive stores in New Delhi, two in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune and Kolkata apart from Hyderabad.
Hafele has over 11,000 products for the Indian market with warehouses in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata.
The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hafele Global network and has been operating in India since 2003.
The company services its customers with a base of over 1,300 employees, a franchise base of over 80 shops along with over 3,000 dealers situated across South Asia.
