It is known that the state run oil companies, which last altered fuel prices almost for two months have hiked today. The fuel rates mentioned below are due at 6 am and are subjected to change at any time as per the petroleum companies.

The petroleum companies alter prices based on crude oil prices in the international market. Against this background prices may rise one day and may fall another day.

Going by the prices, the petrol prices in Delhi are holding at Rs. 81.59 per litre with an increase of 6 paise and diesel price at Rs. 71.41 with 16 paise hike. The petrol prices in Hyderabad remained at Rs. 85.86 paise with a hike of 6 paise and diesel at Rs. 77.93 with a hike of 18 paise.

In Chennai, the petrol price per litre costs Rs. 84.64 with surge of 6 paise and the diesel is priced at Rs. 76.88 with a hike of 16paise. The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol price per liter at Rs. 88.29 with a hike of 6 paise and the diesel prices remained at Rs. 77.90 with a hike of 17 paise.
