Of course, the longevity of a few actresses who have launched 15 years ago like Nayantara, Trisha and Kajal Aggarwal and more have been considered as they have worked with both the young and middle-aged heroes across the Indian film industry.

Yet, the more the things change, the more it remains the same. The prevailing trend of investing heavily on the hunks of the movie world who guarantee stupendous openings and sustain the BO pressure for the first weekend at least has not changed one bit.

In this scenario, Tamannah in a recent media interaction reported in the Tamil media re-opened the topic and is reported to have said that films require both male and female leads and has sought a change in attitude when it comes to paying the heroines.

With her career comprising a Hindi film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and a delayed remake of the Hindi hit ' Queen', Tamannah, who has also enjoyed a long 15- year run in the film industry deserves a hearing.
