A 21st century sequel to the film - 'Thalaivan Irukkindran'- is about to be launched presently in which Vijay Sethupathi is to take up a powerful role. Kamal, if reports are to be believed, has finalized three heroines for this venture. One is Revathi, from the original, in which she matched the histrionics of the talented hero. The other two are his recent favourites – Andreah Jeremiah and Pooja Kumar, who were seen in the Viswaroopam franchise.
The eternal lover boy that Kamal has been seen as, it would be interesting to speculate how the 65-year-old will keep his balance of playing the senior star and also the romantic hero at the same time.
