Thalapathy Vijay is one of the most talented actors in Kollywood right now. Besides, he's also the actor with the midas touch as every movie he does these days is turning out to be hit.

Even though Vijay restricts himself to just one movie year, he makes sure they are long remembered by his fans till his next movie. He often takes on the government and their policies in his movies. Beginning with his Mersal and Sarkar to Bigil and now Master, Vijay is unstoppable.

Recently, the Income Tax guys conducted a raid at his place and also summoned Vijay who was shooting for his film Master in Neyveli to Chennai.

The IT guys is said to have asked Vijay about his real remuneration for Bigil after they found some unaccounted transaction between the actor and Bigil director.

Post that episode, there were several rumours and speculation surrounding Vijay's salary for the movie. Now, there is an official confirmation on how much he got from none other than senior Tamil actor Khushbu.

In her tweet, Khushbu said Vijay got some 50 crores for Bigil. Now, if you are wondering how much remuneration Vijay got for his upcoming movie Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, wait till you hear this. As per the tweet posted by Khushbu Sundar, Vijay walked away with a cool Rs 80 crores for working in Master. Isn't that whooping? However, contrary to the rurmours of Vijay evading tax, Khushbu has said that the actor has paid all his taxes.

Master is set for theatrical release on April 9 and also features Vijay Sethupathi in a villain role. Malavika Mohanan plays the leading lady opposite Thalapathy Vijay in Master. We hear that the makers are considering the option of postponing the release of Vijay's Master over coronavirus. Let's see what happens.
