Veteran director Dinesh Baboo’s 50th film ‘Kasturi Mahal’ teaser will be unveiled at midnight on January 1. The movie, which went on floors earlier in September, has completed the schedule and work on post-production is on.
Bengaluru: Veteran director Dinesh Baboo's 50th film 'Kasturi Mahal' teaser will be unveiled at midnight on January 1. The movie, which went on floors earlier in September, has completed the schedule and work on post-production is on. The team of 'Kasturi Mahal' starring Shanvi Srivastava in the lead, announced that the shooting was wrapped up in October. Major portions of the film were shot in Kottigehara and Chikkamagaluru.
It is reported that 'Kasturi Mahal' is a paranormal thriller based on true incidents derived from Dinesh Baboo's personal experience. According to the director, 'Kasturi Mahal' is both a thriller and horror, depending on the viewers' perspective. Baboo, who faced many challenges from the day of announcement of the project, first titled the film 'Kasturi Nivasa' and Rachita Ram was named to play lead role. Later she was dropped and Shanvi Srivastava was roped in. The sources claim that Shanvi with the traditional beauty will be seen in a unique role once again after her recent appearance in Avane Srimannarayana in 2019. 'Kasturi Mahal' will be Shanvi's second outing in a horror flick.
Along with Shanvi, the film also has Sruthi Prakash in lead roles. Skanda Ashok, Rangayana Raghu and Narayana Swamy are playing other important roles. 'Kasturi Mahal' is jointly produced under the banner of Sri Bhavani Arts and Rubin Raj Productions.
