Many senior aged persons who have contributed to the upliftment of the film land are still alive. The young generation in the industry who are involved in their own mission are not familiar with these senior citizens who have strived to bring up the sandalwood industry.
Some are not even bothered about such people. One such senior personality is Shri Ranga, who has written songs for ' Janumada Jodi', 'Rakta Kanneeru', "Aakash' 'Veera Kannadiga', ,,,"Appaji' ' Inspector Vikram' 'Gandu Gali Kumara Rama' "Aase gobba Meesegobba', 'Appu', 'Abhi' , and dialogues for the movies like 'Anjada Gandu" ' Kindari Jogi" 'Muthaide Bhagya" ' Adrushta Rekhe" ' Puksatte Ganda Hottethumba Unda", "Shukra Deshe", Bhulokadalli Yamaraja", and some other movies.
This aged writer is staying with his wife and daughter in a small house at K R Puram. The Daughter sings in orchestras to take care of her parents!. Shriranga who once upon a time was a famous writer is leading his life with his knee deep in difficulties.
