Sandalwood's Rocking Star Yash is on a winning spree, what with all the fame he earned from his previous movie KGF Chapter 1. The movie was directed by Prashanth Neel and set a new benchmark in the Kannada Film Industry. Not just in Gandhingar, the KGF set new standards for filmmakers in other industries across India too. And Yash became a household name across the globe.

With the super success of KGF chapter 1, the makers are now in the process of making KGF Chapter 2. Most parts of the movie have been shot and the film is slated for theatrical release on October 23, if all goes well. Now, we all know that coronavirus lockdown brought the entire world to a standstill and with it came all the movie related works to a grinding halt.

We already told you that the producers and Karnataka film chamber of commerce officials had submitted a request to Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa asking him to allow shooting of movies. Their request was rejected in the light of the contagion. However, the government gave its green signal to resume post production works related to movies while adhering to social distancing norms laid down by the MHA.

Not wasting any more time, the crew of KGF Chapter 2 have swung to action. The movie's producer Karthik Gowda shared a picture of the crew members having a music sitting session on social media. The picture features composer Ravi Basrur, Cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda and director Prashant Neel. It appears the music will be ready by the time lockdown ends.

Besides Yash, KGF Chapter 2 will also star Srinidhi Shetty and Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon. The film, which will be simultaneously released in multiple languages is one of the highly anticipated movies in India. Stay tuned for updates.
