The theatrical trailer and pre-release event have created enough curiosity in the film which is enough to drive the crowds to the theatres on the first day of the release.
As expected, the audiences turned out in a big number on release day at the multiplexes. But, the response from the audiences is not as expected. The audiences felt that the entertainment portion of the movie could have been much better than what it actually is. At the same time, the film is not watchable by all classes of audiences.
The critics too felt the same and the general audiences also expressed a similar opinion. Looking at the way the film opened to mixed talk, the movie might struggle at the box-office to recover the investment.
