Shakalala Shankar in a comic caper
The film, ‘Athreyapuram Animuthyam’ with Shakalaka Shankar and Rithu Bharmecha in the lead roles is being bankrolled and helmed by M S Reddy under the banner of ‘The One Enterprises.’

The traditional pooja ceremonies and other religious rituals were performed formally at the Ramanaidu studios in Filmnagar on Monday.
While noted producer K L Damodar Prasad gave the sound clap, senior director Sagar Gaurav directed the first scene. Both of them were the chief guests on the occasion. Satya Reddy switched on the camera.
Addressing the gathering, Shakalaka Shankar said that 'Athreyapuram Animuthyam' was a rip-roaring comedy like his earlier films and would definitely entertain the audience.
M S Reddy, in his speech, said that the story of 'Athreyapuram Animuthyam' revolves around a youth, Raju and it was a hilarious family entertainer.
He said that the film highlights the issue of women's harassment and would be shot extensively in Hyderabad and the surrounding areas of Athreyapuram.
