Tollywood: After Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, director Surender Reddy planned another movie with Ram Charan but it did not take off. Later, Surender Reddy tried to impress Prabhas even this plan did not work out. Then, Surender Reddy shifted his focus on to Varun Tej and when things are turning out positive, the lockdown arrived. Surender Reddy has to wait until Varun finishes his boxing drama which just started.
As a plan B, Surender Reddy approached Ram who did not sign any movie now. Ram is looking for a change of genre right now. He did iSmart Shankar and his upcoming release RED also falls under action genre. So, Ram wants to do a family entertainer and got in touch with director Maruthi. Now, Surender Reddy is also in talks with the young hero for a project.
Both the directors are busy preparing subjects for the hero but nothing is finalized yet. Final confirmation on the same will come out once things get back to normalcy in the movie industry.
