Seeks suggestion for making Telangana a destination for filmmaking
Hyderabad : Telangana State Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav on Wednesday called on Tollywood film actors Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna and held discussions on the strengthening of the film industry in the State.
Officials said that the Minister requested the film industry to come up with viable suggestions to make Telangana a destination for filmmaking in the country with latest available technologies in the world.
Sources said that the proposal to set up a film city and research wing in the areas of film production and skill development among the filmmaking workers were discussed in the meeting.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will hold a meeting with the film fraternity soon in Hyderabad and finalise an action plan to strengthen the film industry in Telangana.
