Venkatesh's Involvement in Asuran Script?

Asuran remake is the most exciting project in recent times now. Dhanush played the lead role in the original. Popular filmmaker Vetri Maran directed the movie. Now, the interesting reports suggest that it was Venkatesh who picked the project and wanted the makers to do the film in the way he wants it to be.

The actor himself chose Srikanth Addala as the director for the project as he felt that the director could be sensible enough to make the project in the desired manner.

Venkatesh wants to tone down the violence of the movie completely and asked the director to add more family drama to it. Suresh Babu has a clarity of how he is looking at the film's story and hence, he also gave instructions to Srikanth in shaping the script. But, its been quite a while that Venkatesh loved a movie so much that he gets involved in the script too.
