Vivid Sydney

Light, music, ideas! The three terms that best lay the foundation of what this festival embodies and ardently validates why it is rightfully called 'Vivid'. This annual festival is an 'outdoor' gallery hosting lighting sculptures, a cutting-edge contemporary music program, some of the leading creative industry forums and, of course, the spectacular illumination of the Sydney Opera House sails. That indeed is a long list; we will wait for you to catch your breath. The upcoming event will be the 11th edition to the much renowned legacy and will be back to illume Sydney. Oktober fest

Having a footfall of over 6 million people each year, the biggest Beer festival is brewed with energy. Fermenting liveliness through the 2 weeks of beerbration, this festival is known for consuming over 7 million litres of beer, every year! Folks dressed in traditional Bavarian attires (yes, we're talking about the white blouse, long skirt and apron for women and men dressed in plaids, lederhosens and alpine hats) is a typical sight at Oktober. The event also hosts a pulsating costume parade, the all-favorite family day, traditional Bavarian concerts, and more. It's true what they say, 'Beauty is in the eyes of the beerholder'! Distortion Festival

Reigning over global fests in the category of 'street life' and 'party culture' since its inception, the Distortion festival is back again on May 29. A street party during the day, and an intimate club by the night, to sum it up, Distortion is a 5-day rave for tourists who like vibing to the music-mayhem. Buñol, Spain (May 29 to June 2' 2019).

La Tamotina

Thousands of people from across the globe make their way to Bunol to celebrate the world's biggest food fight. For those of you who haven't watched the film, imagine a vivacious street crammed with enthusiastic tourists, amidst the chaos of flying tomatoes, trying to climb to the top of a two-story high, using a greased wooden pole to have their hands on the coveted ham at the top. The words "chaos" and "fun" are an understatement when we even begin to describe this event. A little fun fact to close the deal: around one hundred metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes are used at this festival every year! Bunol, Spain (August 28' 2019).

Battle of Wine

One thing that is crazier than drinking wine is pouring it on each other. In Haro a town in Spain, there is a battle of wine held every year, where people douse each another with wine. Everyone is drenched with wine until their clothes are painted in red from head to toe. People from all around the world attend the festival to bathe themselves in red wine. Attending this event is an amazing memory to cherish. From June 29 to June 30.

Golden Retriever Festival in Scotland

A complete paradise for animal and especially dog lovers! If you're a dog person, then there is no chance that you would want to miss the opportunity to spend time with these pawsome pals. To add more fun to the event, the organizers also arrange a dog show. There's plenty of time to spend with Golden Retrievers from around the globe.

Rio Carnival in Brazil

Rio Carnival also called as 'The Biggest show on Earth', takes place is in Brazil annually. The Carnival parade is filled with floats, revelers and adornments from Samba schools, in Rio. Around 2 million people gather in the streets of Rio every day to witness the event. The festival goes back to have a history of 380 years. Back then, the feasts were organized to give honour to the Greek wine Gods. In the years that followed, the Africans influenced the carnival with Samba music, which is now a custom for Brazilian music.

Coachella, California

Coachella is an annual musical and arts festival held in California. The event features musicals artists from various genres. There are several stages, which simultaneously host live music. Coachella features popular artists and is a great platform for emerging artists from around the world. Celebrities and eminent personalities from across the globe attend Coachella every year. This festival definitely features as a must-attend event.
