Yoga can protect you from brain tumor

Encased within the protection of a solid skull, the brain is an amazing organ which is responsible many of the important tasks. It handles intelligence, creativity, emotion, speech, movement of arms and legs, and memory. The human brain weighs just over a kilogram, at 2 per cent of the body weight it controls all functions of the body and its many organs. Information is received through the five senses of sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing.
A tumor is a mass or growth of abnormal cells in your brain. Brain tumors can begin in your brain (primary brain tumors), or cancer can begin in other parts of your body and spread to your brain. Many different types of brain tumors exist. Some brain tumors are benign and noncancerous while others are malignant or cancerous. The rate at which a brain tumor grows can vary greatly. The growth as well as location of a brain tumor determines how it will affect the function of your nervous system. Yoga recommends the practice of specific asanas, pranayama and meditation techniques as powerful solutions to this debilitating disease. Simple standing or seated postures can be coupled with breathing techniques and meditation practice to fortify the body protecting it against diseases.

Very slow and deliberate practice of foundational level asanas and gentle breathing techniques can also be effective in healing the tumor of the brain. Along with these, ensure that the food that you eat is also pure and organic. Pause and hold each posture for 20-30 seconds each, and in this way spend up to 20 minutes regularly to boost your immune system.
