GATE 2020 last date for registration extended
- The last date to apply GATE 2020 has been extended till September 28, 2019
- However, the IIT-Delhi has not clarified yet if there is any last date for registering with a late fee.
The last date to register for GATE 2020 has been extended by two days by the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Candidates can now apply for the exam till September 28, 2019.
The IIT Delhi in a notice said that they have extended the date due to heavy traffic load in the GATE application portal. However, it also advised the candidates not to wait for the last date to apply and directed them to complete the payment process as soon as possible.
Candidates who are interested to apply for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020 can apply for it by September 28 without any late fee. However, the IIT-Delhi has not clarified yet if there is any last date for registering with a late fee.
It further stated that the registration process will be completed by verifying the mobile number and email address through OTP. If there is a delay in getting OTP for mobile number, candidates are advised to get their email ID verified.
