Father's Day celebration at Delhi Public School
A father’s selfless love is pivotal in nurturing the child and there could not be a more universal celebration than the one that celebrates the accomplishments and efforts of a father. Delhi Public School, Mahendra Hills celebrated Father’s Day on Saturday.
Hyderabad: A father's selfless love is pivotal in nurturing the child and there could not be a more universal celebration than the one that celebrates the accomplishments and efforts of a father. Delhi Public School, Mahendra Hills celebrated Father's Day on Saturday.
The atriums thronged with dads were excited to watch their children perform. The event started by lighting of the lamp. The tiny tots warmly welcomed their dads with a prayer song to invoke the blessings of the almighty followed by a welcome dance. Aditya of class 2 gave a topic talk on Father's Day and Adhyan of class 2 sang a melodious song.
Sunitha Rao, the school Principal, expressed her happiness and welcomed the parents to the school in her welcome speech. The meet was declared open by Head Mistress, Neetu Gupta and the balloons were released. Yohan, Sports HOD, briefed the fathers about the various competitions and the venues.
To make the celebration even more special many interesting games were arranged. Fathers thoroughly enjoyed taking part in games like Face painting, T-shirt painting, Sack race, Blindfold race, 3 legged race, Brick race and bursting the balloons. The fathers enthusiastically participated in all the games and appreciated the school for conducting such events where they too could be involved and also get an opportunity to relive their own school days.
