Hyderabad: Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR), New Delhi organised an "Indian National Festival" on where in 50+ colleges participated from all over country.

An award function was organised on April 18. Global Institute of Education and Technology was awarded "Outstanding Engineering College in Telangana for Industry Interface 2019" for exemplary contribution towards Education and Research.

The award was received by Dr Ravindra Tiwari- Dean, Global Professional Colleges. These colleges are under the aegis of eminent educationist K M Arifuddin (MEWS) known for imparting quality education for last four decades.

Professor A P Mittal, President CEGR and Member Secretary AICTE, gave away the award along with Chief Guest Professor KK Aggarwal, Chairman, National Board of Accreditation. Professor Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE executed the pledge taking ceremony.

The incredible value additions of the college to bag this prestigious award are its active involvement in Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), Swatch Bharat Abhiyan (SBA), Smart India Hackathon (SIH), National Testing Agency - Training Practice Centre (NTA-TPC), Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), Study Webs Of Active Learning For Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM), National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) and The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTR).
